I moved away from the USA 20 years ago, and in that time I have slowly undone the conditioning that most Americans don't even realize they have been subjected to. What I've learned,

1. USA is not the "greatest country in the world". Far from it.
2. Other countries also enjoy freedom. Often at higher levels than in the US.
3. Personal Privacy is respected more in other parts of the world.
4. Guns are not cool.
5. "Liberty and justice for all" was a lie.
There's more to say. (and I will)
