Listening now for the very first time to Link Wray after catching someone’s post about his instrumental song “Rumble.” Wondering how I managed to miss this during my teen years. It has that raw edge that I loved in rock and which is entirely missing in pop music now.

Thrilled that my latest album, CHAMBER MUSIC, has received another award, this one from Clouzine International Music Awards. Best Classical Album. You can listen on most streaming platforms.
Thanks, Clouzine!
Started in today setting several poems from Nelly Sachs’ “Flight and Metamorphosis” to music. Not entirely practical, but it seemed soprano and string quartet was right for these poems. I debated, momentarily between setting the original German or the English translation - but went with the former. The poem has stanzas framed around the statement “how light the earth will be…when…”
Harmonics.
