So pleased with the recognition for A SONG ALBUM. This one, from LIT Music Awards, is their Platinum Award for Best Classical Album. The album has received awards from four juried competitions.

Thanks to conductor Marek Stilec, soprano Lisa Rombach, the Chamber Orchestra Mannheim and the Arco Diva production team.

Thrilled that the European International Music Awards (EIMA) recognized A SONG ALBUM with a Gold Medal for Best Classical Album. A shout out of thanks to conductor Marek Stilec, soprano Lisa Rombach, the Chamber Orchestra Mannheim, and the Arco Diva production team for converting my black dots to this award winning recording.

A SONG ALBUM includes song cycles for soprano and strings setting poems by Ellen Bryant Voigt, Meg Freer, Hart Crane, R.M. Rilke, and various Renaissance Italian poets.

So sorry to learn today that tenor Robert White passed away. He was an extraordinary musician and the most delightful human being. As a young impressionable student at MSM, he was someone who I admired as what a musician could and should be.
