Signal Messenger - Director of Major Gifts

We are seeking a Director of Major Gifts to join our Development team as a high-impact individual contributor. In this role, you will be the primary engine for high-net-worth and charitable institutional engagement, ensuring that Signal has the resources necessary to sustain and scale our technology. This is not a role for a backend administrator; it is a role for a builder and a closer. You will own the full lifecycle of major giving—from identifying prospects to closing six-and-seven-figure commitments. Reporting into the President, you will work directly with Signal leadership to translate complex technical challenges into compelling philanthropic narratives.

@evacide if you need me to talk to anyone in tech about how important fundraising is for Signsl, please email me and I will, gladly
@evacide that is such a cool job title, sounds like you are Santa
@evacide another Fundraising job that is not evil: CRM-Manager at DKMS - We delete blood cancer (Germany)

@evacide I read as "Director of Major Grifts" at first and thought it was an unusually apt way to put it.

@evacide @Gina also you’ll be responsible for six-seeeven figure budgets.

I see what you did there, Signal.

@evacide This looks amazing, however...

> We’re fully distributed. This means you can work anywhere within the US.

So not 'fully distributed' then.

@evacide
Darn, if it wasn't for that pesky t, I'd gladly apply for a director of major gifs.
@evacide I applied for an support technician in december and got ghosted….
@evacide @NormanDunbar Can I apply to be this person’s tech support (persuasion)?😁
