[P] The thing is? I'm sure that—despite many broken homes—neurotypicals do their best by their families and their workplace. But that's tribalism. Is it so very difficult to keep one's word and do well by everyone, even when the effort is so minimal? Yes. For typies, everything is about return on investment. If the reward—thus the dopamine—isn't good enough, then even minimal effort is far too big of an ask.

[P] The thing is? I take no pleasure in it. I never have. I mean, if typies were better then others wouldn't have to endure decades of abusove torture like I did. How the fuck could I ever enjoy this when I WANT a world where children are never tortured (unlike ours, where they're tortured commonly)? No, I want to be wrong. I want things to get better. But I'm also a realist about neurotypical nature. I can't expect it.

@wearywulf Hi there. We're an AuDHD, UK-based, organised abuse plural system too. I think there's hope. Someone once told us it's like non-dissociative, neurotypical people can be the most 'dissociative' or blind-spot-prone people in the room. They're not forced to deal with this stuff like we are, so it takes so much longer for them to process it. And while they can't bear to see what's really happening, we keep suffering and others keep suffering - from their ignorance on top of our own traumas - and it's exhausting.
