Sorry for the…typo? Something? I pre-wrote the earlier toot in BBEdit and then copy/pasted it! I did the same on Bluesky, with minor edits, and there was no weirdness there! (I didn’t edit the part that had weirdness.) Weird…ness.
@siracusa Finally outsourced your writing to AI, huh? :) Mostly kidding about that, though, it was nice to hear you take a more reasoned stance about blindly trusting the output of LLM’s on the recent ATP.

@siracusa Probably...

@siracusa please tell me this document is called toots.txt
@rawrdimus Untitled <some big number>, of course.
@siracusa ShevqeIeIcDHD0d? That's a heck of typo 😆
@josephduffy @siracusa thank you for preserving this very important historical event.
@siracusa @dianna fingers got a little excited when typing “uploaded” there.
@siracusa So glad she is back and doing better!
@siracusa @dianna Soooooooo excited to see a new 'Physics Girl' video. I mean, for the content, sure, but even more so for seeing her making one! Fantastic news. Thanks for sharing, John.
@siracusa @dianna my wife has been suffering from ME/CFS for the past seven years, as well as a constellation of other chronic illnesses. It is no joke.

@siracusa Thanks for sharing. It's important that others learn about this.

Soon it will be 4 years since I was diagnosed with ME/CFS. It's hard to describe how extreme this condition is. The hurdles are very individual, but the brutal crashes are identical for most of my fellow sufferers. I don't see a real way out, but it is possible to adapt to a certain extent and live a life. At least for me.

Thank you also for your podcast work, it gives me more stability than you can imagine.

@siracusa @dianna Good to see...there is a trajectory with ME/CFS that is fairly common (although far from universal) where partial recoveries spontaneously occur after a few years. Some people can and do experience remissions too. Hoping for the best for her.

I am so glad she is well enough to create new content!

@siracusa @dianna apparently Ian Goodfellow as well, of Google/Apple AI/ML fame. Its def a rough disease
@siracusa @dianna YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this is the best news I've seen lately, granted the bar is not high but dang I'm glad she's doing better 😁
@siracusa wow, i was literally just wondering how she was doing earlier today
@siracusa @dianna this makes me incredibly happy. Had to do a double-take when I saw the video in my feed.
@dianna @siracusa THANK YOU for sharing this. My wife has been going through the same thing for around the same timeframe and it’s been tough, people don’t always accept it or acknowledge it.
