Our recent survey shows that Europe is ready to ditch US technology, in favour of private alternatives.

@protonprivacy Are you active again here? If so, a very warm welcome back!
@raisondetredev 😅 good to be back
@protonprivacy I hope Canada starts working on it.
@protonprivacy Nice that you are back! But I will believe it when you add the profile back to your website.
@protonprivacy Keep up the good fight Proton. Your suite of professional and secure apps is an absolute life changer. Thank you so much for continuing to fight and advocate for digital privacy. My brother and I are going to be getting a Duo plan with you guys to really take advantage of everything AND support the mission, but what you have available for free is simply amazing. Keep up the good work.
@protonprivacy I just hope they don't push age verification on OS level like they did in California and Colorado.
@protonprivacy aggreeing with everyone else, glad to see a presence here ❤️
Proton Mail Says It’s “Politically Neutral” While Praising Republican Party

The “privacy-first” company surprised its user base when CEO Andy Yen lauded Trump on social media.

@protonprivacy to be honest l am not loving western products in general but EU is pretty much only alternative to chinese & american & russian products

@protonprivacy

Your CEO is a Trump & GOP fanboy.

In other words: You're hardly more trustworthy than the tech by US fashs.

@protonprivacy Welcome back to Mastodon! It's great to see you guys here again

@protonprivacy Fuck US honestly. They used to be cool, even if they're creepy and looked powerful (they still are) but now it's just a clown shitshow there.

I dunno. I hope only the best for Americans, honestly.

@protonprivacy

As they should be. Any American could have told them not to trust any software that comes out of this place. I’ve been moving all my online stuff to Swiss providers as their renewal dates come up. When it comes to technology, our government is bad, no matter the ruling party; this one’s just the worst. They’ve been ignoring our place in the tech space and security, and no one is paying attention to all the companies that are avoiding the US like the plague and all the identity theft that’s going on. Shameful.

@protonprivacy honestly, i wish data protection agencies would get the trash out of americorp, but these had been almost entirely useless so far.
@protonprivacy It is true that Pronton's calendar is linked to Zoom?

@Diana_european

If you mean can you create a Zoom meeting in Proton Calendar, then yes.

@protonprivacy "ready", you say? Oh really? Then you definitely exclude people with disabilities, so roughly 15% of all population. Cool.
@protonprivacy just hope Europeans don't make the same mistakes that were made in America. Regulation and government involvement is what allowed companies like Microsoft and Apple to come into existence.
@protonprivacy
Why protonmail on github does not match app store version? Will there be more apps on F-Droid?
@protonprivacy We use US tech because it works so well. The quest to use more local tech is great.
@protonprivacy Open AI wants to do a deal with NATO
@protonprivacy It Will be a good thing, we need FOSS in Europe, no tracking no ADS and no selling data to some untrusted company
