Saw my GP about the rejected Gyno referral which said my hormonal issues are likely perimenopause & recommended HRT so have a trial of that.

I also picked up my referral letter for rheumatology (as medical evidence for PIP & DSA) & it says #fibro. The GP has basically said "pretty sure it's fibro, please confirm."

I've been crying in a coffee shop with my beautiful girlfriend. It's a lot to process & I was kinda hanging onto it being #LongCovid as there is at least a chance that might improve.

@alexisbushnell

I menopaused at 35 and was on HRT for about 10 years as I'd already fractured my spine and there were concerns about my bone density.

There are many different types of HRT and which one suits other people may not suit you, so don't be afraid to go back if the one suggested doesn't work/suit you.

With the correct medication, most conditions can have their symptoms alleviated...just hang in there πŸ«‚β€οΈ

@TCMuffin I've been concerned about bone density for a while as I started with these symptoms in my late 20s and my mother went through menopause at 40. But if course up til now nobody in healthcare has listened.

I'm hoping that HRT will help but nervous as I've proven to be very sensitive to hormones in the past and had bad experiences with the pill but apparently HRT doesn't usually affect in the same way so fingers crossed.
