Went Italian tonight. 🇮🇹

Spaghetti & meatballs. Homemade sauce, despite discovering I had no red wine, no fresh garlic, and just enough unspoiled onions.

Commercial frozen meatballs (so sue me). These were good, though I'm certain I can do better from scratch.

Kinda fun boxing up the leftovers: like making little Bento boxes. Just enough pasta, a couple ladles of sauce, and a few meatballs.

Wound up with 1 meal in the fridge, 2 in the freezer, a small container of sauce in the freezer, and enough meatballs frozen for 3-4 more meals.

And... I'm fat -n- happy! 😋

I made baked meatballs a week or so ago: easy and very good. I have half of them frozen for later meals.
