Went Italian tonight. 🇮🇹
Spaghetti & meatballs. Homemade sauce, despite discovering I had no red wine, no fresh garlic, and just enough unspoiled onions.
Commercial frozen meatballs (so sue me). These were good, though I'm certain I can do better from scratch.
Kinda fun boxing up the leftovers: like making little Bento boxes. Just enough pasta, a couple ladles of sauce, and a few meatballs.

A Romantic Dinner in Diapers (commission)
08/23/2025
And here we have Tacoma and Redmond going on a romantic dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant. Since Tacoma's the big boy in the relationship, he's spoon-feeding his more child-like boyfriend, who's quite a messy eater.
I like to imagine that in addition to regular grownups, the restaurant also caters to ABDL patrons and even allows them not to cover up their diapers if they wish, but adheres to a strict "CLOTH DIAPERS ONLY" policy.

It's not a U.K.-specific tip, either. Here's a U.S.A.-ian figuring this out in a Colorado store back in 2017.

I'm sure that our esteemed @wild1145, who has been to #IKEA more than once, will also confirm this for the doubters. (-:

The first time I went to IKEA I went with my sister and I'm pretty sure we both broke out in hives, sweated profusely, and nearly had panic attacks. We made the mistake of going to the new (at the time) IKEA in southwest Ohio, on a weekend, in the middle of the day. To say it was overwhelming is a g
If you are a regular visitor to #IKEA, and you know what specifically you are looking for, you don't have to do it the long way.

In one store that is now closed, the shortcut if one knew the product codes already, was very simple: whilst the huge obvious lifts, that everybody queued up at, went from the car park level to the Showroom and Marketplace levels and needed keys for the other floors; the stairs, with no queues and no waiting and behind a nondescript door, allowed one to go straight to the Self-Service level.
And if one just wanted the kyckling köttbullar, there was even a street-level pedestrian entrance on the other side of the building that led straight to the food shop level.
@bytebro You know that there's a trick to #IKEA, right? There are shortcuts riddled throughout the stores. One can skip back and ahead. They're not hidden, but the store layout is usually such that one normally is facing away from them. For example: In one IKEA store in the West Midlands, people normally walk in angled to the left at the main entrance, and so largely miss that simply turning about 120° to the right takes them directly to the checkout counters and food shop. Go up the escalators at the main entrance, and people are still angled left. Turning right there similarly skips the entire Showroom and takes them to Market Hall. There are inner shortcuts in both of those, as well. They let the cat out of the bag a decade or so ago, and the aforesaid store nowadays has Tube-style maps showing the shortcuts with dotted lines. Before then, one had to watch how the staff navigated the store to figure the trick out. (-:
I told The Other Keith about this trick last year, by the way. (-:
@keefeglise The secret to #Ikea is finding the carefully obscured 170° turn, different in every store and not spoken about on Ikea's official guides, that avoids the entire sales floors and goes straight to the restaurant where the #meatballs and #Daim bars are. There used to be an Ikea in my neck of the woods that had a second pedestrian street entrance for the restaurant. I say used to be. I suspect that it failed because it made it far too easy for people to bypass #Billy and #Gnedby on their way to the meatballs and Daim bars. https://ikea.com/au/en/customer-service/knowledge/articles/873gg66g-gcec-4bc0-b07c-6e34d29d6111.html
