The start of travel to #RootsTech begins ...

Heading down off the mountain towards the big city today. I have not been home since July when we bought the bungalow (long story). @Appalachian

I don't think the baby sharks & Auggie Doggie are happy to leave their porch in #Appalachia for the ATL burbs. πŸ€”

Fly out to SLC, before dawn, on Wednesday and thrilled to present for #WikiTree at the largest global #Genealogy Conference.

@AncestryRoads @Appalachian I hope you have safe travels and a wonderful time in SLC!
@bethroots @Appalachian Many thanks! I have promised myself only one T-shirt and no DNA kits. πŸ˜‚
@AncestryRoads @Appalachian Not going to do the new MyHeritage kit? 😁

@bethroots It's so tempting. MH is the only one that I ported over my DNA vs doing a kit. Historically, their booth has these huge towers that are storerooms for their DNA kits at a very nice price.

Ok, you just convinced me. One t shirt and 5 DNA kits to share. πŸ˜‚

@AncestryRoads Zero to five in 60 seconds! 🀣

@AncestryRoads Welcome to the city, even if only for a short stay.

Any neat family history stops while you're here in Atlanta?

@epilanthanomai It is in reverse. I live in the burbs of ATL. Thanks for reminding me that it is time to schedule a trip to the ATL Botanical Gardens! 🌸
@AncestryRoads Ah, gotcha. Well, safe travels! <3

And those of us who can't get to RootsTech in person, can log into the RootsTech website (using our Family Search details) for free access to quite a few sessions.
