Apparently this is a new daily pop-up I get to dismiss when doing searches with my Android phone...
Kolokoko Bird!@RxBrad That's annoying. What are your thoughts about using a different search engine, instead of Google?
@KolokokoBird I'm not entirely opposed.
Since the "Google search is superior" philosophy is long-dead, Bing is technically my default search engine (mostly so I can get a free month of Game Pass from time-to-time with Rewards points).
The only problem is that Google services are frequently baked pretty tightly into Android phones. So when I use that permanent search bar on the bottom of my home screen, it's generally Google coming back with the results.
@RxBrad That's frustrating. What a pity that google has become useless and annoying.
José Manuel (Chema) Solís@RxBrad @KolokokoBird Do you know about marginalia search? It works like search engines used to. It sticks to your search terms instead of guessing what you want to see, so the results are less generic.

I use a number of non-google search engines. Google is useless these days.
