@KolokokoBird I'm not entirely opposed.

Since the "Google search is superior" philosophy is long-dead, Bing is technically my default search engine (mostly so I can get a free month of Game Pass from time-to-time with Rewards points).

The only problem is that Google services are frequently baked pretty tightly into Android phones. So when I use that permanent search bar on the bottom of my home screen, it's generally Google coming back with the results.

@RxBrad @KolokokoBird Do you know about marginalia search? It works like search engines used to. It sticks to your search terms instead of guessing what you want to see, so the results are less generic.

I use a number of non-google search engines. Google is useless these days.

@RxBrad I’ve been using StartPage still pulls from Google but they only rape you with two trackers from cloudflare opposed to 100s
