Friend I play the finals with I asked a direct question to: does he use AI? And he replied that he does use AI at work, and that he works in software engineering. So does that mean he is using AI to code? Is that what I am supposed to understand by that or are there other uses for AI in that field. #AI #slopocalypse
I shared that 404 article with a a friend who is trying to make money selling AI “art” accompanied with a long screed about how AI hurts the environment, the economy, and artistic creativity. I know for sure I’ve set myself up for a long argument with this guy but enough is enough. I will not stay silent while this guy acts like AI is the second coming of Jesus Christ. #slopocalypse #NoAI

I'm about 11 minutes into it. He's not in favor of LLM slop, but he's also being very critical of some of the hair-on-fire alarmism.
