They killed Saddam, we got ISIS
They killed Bin Laden, we got the Taliban back and women being even more oppressed than before.

They killed Khamenei, and keep bombing schools and prisons were leftists and women are.

I mourn none of these men. But messianic narcissist self-appointed paladins aren't there to liberate anyone. They kill these dictators because they are competitors in the oppression game.

#Iran

@alx And because of the oil.
@tokyo_0 @alx this! We have so many oppressive Regimes in the World. Why would #trump care about iran.
@strigga_ @tokyo_0 @alx
Strong against the weak, weak against the strong. For years, the US has been waging only wars in which it will suffer no consequences other than the deaths of its soldiers. No one will bomb them or raze their cities to the ground.
@alx
A well expressed truth!
@alx Drill, baby drill.

@alx The Great Game never ended, it's just new actors, with more profits to be made.

Enslave the poor, kill your opponents, all for profit under the guise of "defending the world"

@sortius we need an International global 1789.
@alx I'll sharpen the guillotine
@alx 💯 can not deny for last paragraph

@alx This game is called 'DISTRACTION'.

#EpsteinFiles #GlobalElite #Trafficking

@kristen_d I think is called "I do it because I can, I want, and you can't stop me"
TBH, I think Trump doesn't care about the Epstein Files.
@alx Trump promises long, deadly game of whack-a-fundamentalist-mole. Will unveil Coalition of the Coerced within weeks.
@alx And one oppressor just wants to show that he can piss further than the other oppressor.

@alx - The Art of Distraction.

Two wildly unpopular leaders - both facing political and legal malfeasance pressure - decide to get together and run the 'Wag the Dog' scenario to distract their constituents and - more importantly - the Media.
And is so often the case, the end result of such an action does not go so far as to discuss what happens afterwards. If the event achieves their goals, the rest is collateral damage.

See Iraq. Or Afghanistan. Or Gaza. Or Venezuela.

@alx Agree.
I think it's called by literate "geopolitics".

Being illiterate, I describe it as the law of the strongest. And it doesn't stop at the top level, there's always a lower level strongest, killing and oppressing, even in smaller human communities. Down to the two humans group, the couple.

It looks very hard to organize human species in groups, of two units and more, without one or more of these animals starting oppressing the others. Might help training them to sociality.

@alx they killed Rabin and they got Netanyahoo and the other racist murderers in his cabinet.
@ArchaeoIain Interesting the framing of Rabin in the same list of Saddam and Bin Laden.
@alx he was the exact opposite, so far as we know, and was killed by his own. But he was one of the few hopes for peaceful lives which included both Palestinians and Jews.
@ArchaeoIain @alx I wouldn't as far as "exact opposite". Before contributing to the peace effort, he had his little "break their bones" doctrine.
@FelisCatus @alx I had heard of that doctrine. I was not aware it was a Rabin one. Hard to find any politician of virtue on that side, then
@alx Gaddhafi --> war lords

@alx Keep in mind that armament production is rife with multiple fossil fuels processes, that create immense wealth - especially in persistent war. The fact that one of the largest origins of fossil fuels, subject to increased restrictions like The Strait of Hormuz is, and the profit margin multiplies. Add in the existing relationships the current US Administration has with campaign contributions, from said fossil fuels sources in that same region, and the profit margins can be exponential.

It's one of the biggest grifts in human history.

@alx they overthrew mosaddegh and installed the shah, who created the conditions for the theocratic revolution, etc
