@VeroniqueB99 The Eight Condiments of Flying Spaghetti Monster is missing.
Delighted to see the Seven Fundamental Tenets posted too.
Another example of the separation of church and state in actionβ¦
@VeroniqueB99 Never thought I'd say this but, "I'd like to see Scientology represented too." Really drive home just how scammy and made up religions are.
I mean Joseph Smith's Space Jesus is no less ridiculous than scientology's Space Jesus and Hubbard is a more coherent and engaging fiction author.
I think it would be very instructive to focus especially on the ninth commandment.
Thatβs the commandment that forbids false witness
@VeroniqueB99 The best way to prevent fundamentalism of any variant is to teach people comparative religion. When people can see how the tenets of their "default" faith evolved from previous traditions, it is hard to be a "my book or go to hell" fanatic.
Speaking of hell, we can also see how the imagery of hell evolved from ancient Egypt through Dante. In an earlier variant, for example, the lake of fire was a moat to keep people in.
@VeroniqueB99 should also put up the five tenets of the Dark Brotherhood.
_we know_
Can't wait for someone to have a heart attack over the Tenets being included.
No gods.
No masters.
No bedtimes.
Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
Hot dogs on Fridays.
@cyberwitch @VeroniqueB99 You made me have another look at the image, didn't see anything satanic on it.
Religion, as everything created by human beings, can be used for good and for the worst things you can imagine.
Religious zealots are the worst we humans can offer.
