Companies are coming around to the appeal of mini racks :)

Exaviz sent their new Cruiser board to test, and DeskPi sent over their prototype mini rack mount for it. My experience upgrading my open source Pi NVR here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LayXUxMjPU

@geerlingguy that looks pretty appealing and you know me, picky. of course it depends on what the hw actually is #boxes as infrastucture
@geerlingguy mvp Dell hdd caddy ❤️
@aheimbuch Those things show up everywhere now
@geerlingguy @aheimbuch Short off-topic comment: It's amazing how small the (tech) world is. When two people I follow for very different reasons (because one is the maintainer of my beloved open source podcast web integration and the other is one of my favorite tech YouTubers) communicate within a thread. Thank you both very much!
@geerlingguy darn Jeff, you made me to want to record video feeds, not that I have anything I really need to monitor...
@aho Heh, in both cases for me, the cameras went up after a weird incident, and I wanted to make sure if that incident happened again, I'd have video of it.
@geerlingguy I been looking at the Cat Nybble Q for a while, had been nice to add a camera to it, then I could have a mobile camera to stream. Sadly the web page don't seem to work, so at least a cat camera project on ice.

@geerlingguy

Thank you for the video. That's a neat little board.

And I hope the vendors listen your suggestions to improve the case.
