"What were the skies like when you were young?"
@codinghorror blues and yellows ... all kinds of ... little fluffy clouds
@codinghorror I made sandwiches for the orb once
@wav3ydave they deserved it for this song alone, and thank you
@wav3ydave do tell
@coreysnipes I was on the Reading uni stage crew lugging speakers about back in whenever, 1994? One of their catering crew had sacked it off and they needed someone to make sandwiches, I figured that was better than busting a gut hauling heavy things. I got invited to do the next night too, which was an all-nighter at (I think) the London Astoria. The one and only time I've had an all-areas pass at something cool.

@wav3ydave Spectacular! What a fun experience.

(Coincidentally, stage crew was my university job also, 1990-1995 in San Antonio.)

@codinghorror They went on forever and they, when I, we lived in Arizona
@codinghorror they were on fire …
@codinghorror They went on forever and they, when I, we lived in arizona, and the skies always had little fluffy clouds, and they moved down, they were long and clear, and there were lots of stars at night, and when it would rain it would all turn, it, they were beautiful, the most beautiful skies as a matter of fact, the sunsets were purple and red and yellow and on fire, and the clouds would catch the colors everywhere
@codinghorror You might still see them in the desert

@wamonite a bit harsh, this reply
@codinghorror true. I've been to Watford and it's a bit dull but the rest is unfair
