I was down with this, till I read "comfort zone'. Comfort zones are good, though one can't and shouldn't stay there too long.

Ships are safe in the harbor, but that's not what their purpose is.

Sense gratification is good, though it should not become one's primary goal in life.

Solitude is my "creative zone". I need to be alone to create, and no, it's not necessarily comfortable in there. To make good art, one has to be willing to get deeply uncomfortable in the process.
