The Right to Be Unknown

OMINOUS NETWORKS

@occult Yup, mine went straight in the trash when they announced...

Replaced them with Reolink doorbells that are not internet connected... (they can work without internet, they just need internet for the initial configuration) ;-)

@ShredderFeeder @occult
Every connected object I had to hack was Internet connected.
Make your own ! it's not that hard #DIY

@occult We should never have installed them in the first place.

It's only now that people can see the issues caused to our privacy and our communities due to the shameless authoritarian acts of ICE that are becoming a lot more transparent these days that causes people to think and question more about what devices we use and install in our homes.

Your

to ICE.
Smash it now.
@alterelefant Corrected.
@occult Thank you for adding it. I have shared your post.
@occult Depressingly, a selling point for many. :(
@occult It encourages me that folks of all different political leanings are seeing these things as the evil they’ve always been.
@daniel agreed, and it's bringing it into the mainstream. Folks who never thought about privacy and surveillance are starting to think about it a lot more.
