Had some fun tonight playing with the SimCity graphic modes on MS-DOS. Always the same city, from CGA mono to SVGA. SimCity, SimCity Classic and SimCity 2000. Everything was captured running on my virtual 80486DX 66MHz.

@dfx if you're interested in something niche, there's a palletized 16 color driver for the Win 3.1 version - 16 colors but handpicked ones that work best for the game.

@dfx https://archive.org/details/simcity-2000_202409 this one should work, you'd have to install WIN31/VGADRV/VGAPAL.DR_
