If pieces or flakes are ingested they cause severe intestinal damage and death. These rare earth magnet fidgets are often sold with illegal medical marketing claims of stress relief and as disability aids. Do not risk your life for these fatal rare earth magnet fidgets.

you dont explain what material it is or how it can hurt you, instead painting a picture of some kind of heavy metal poisoning

for those seeking clarification in the replies: the magnets in question are neodymium magnets, and this bullshit comes up every few years. the danger comes from eating magnets. they can squish and puncture your insides as they pull toward each other inside you.

solution: do not eat them

i am an autistic adult with many neodymium magnets and i am fine because i do not eat magnets.

your followers deserve accurate information to allow them to use their own judgment and excercise their own agency, instead of trying to trick them like children who cant be trusted. post better.

@AutisticInnovator @rachaelspooky You claimed „lethal material”. A reasonable interpretation of that is either toxicity or something physically harmful that is hard to contain.

You then expand in another post that this is about child hazard, which is an entirely different category of hazards.

„These toys are designed to be dangerous to children” would be a factually correct claim.

„Magnets are lethal material”, on the other hand, is a strong claim that needs an equally strong evidence.
