more importantly, the ideological shifts that have happened since the 40s have been wild. every government is pretty much all-in on capitalist thievery as the model.
so we have russian mobsters doing a poorly-defined proxy war with what they perceive as american mobsters, while everyone has white collar infosec labs trying to fuck everything up for every target of opportunity.
anyone who claims to have no political opinions in this environment is a liar, spy, or idiot.

1) because everything is political.
2) because the right keep making issues out of things that should not be issues — should we help refugees? should trans people be allowed to exist?

Don't care about politic means don't care about your life and don't care about your kids future.
It's ok, when you're teenager and mom give you eat everyday, it's fun to be careless 😉
