Man open source project management is a tough gig. The end of the update covers some of the difficulty of organising when you lack people who could do the organising work. For example we're not doing GSoC this year, or events, and it's difficult to accept we just can't do everything with the time we have.
@doctormo Endless thanks for your work on #CMYK and #Inkscape. I just finalized another large project for a non-profit that had to take a detour to #Scribus for CMYK prior to print. One day that detour will be unnecessary thanks to your work.
To others: If you're able to support this work, please strongly consider it. Recently, we have seen changes in ownership bring ruin to a great many things ― demonstrating the importance of #freesoftware that cannot be owned in this way. Help ensure the future is built with freedom at the forefront.
