The acronym stands for the Fight Unlawful Conduct and Keep Individuals and Communities Empowered Act, introduced by two Hudson County Democrats.

@D4lt0n It's not. CIA is an initialism. NASA is an acronym (you pronounce it as a word, not a series of letters).
@dmandl That's what I mean: ONE word, but this case makes two words, so it's not an acronym. It might be an abbreviation then?
