Am I smart and careful enough to take detailed notes about the ordering of the bass-side reeds so I don't mount them with the circle-of-fourths going in the wrong direction? Of course I am, and I'm insulted you asked.

I have long imagined that the differences between button patterns across borders in Europe might be explained by someone dropping an early #accordion on a mountain pass and simply putting it back together differently on the other side
