Q2. Can you share images of women cycling:

- in the late 19th/early 20th century, when it was a A Big Deal*, including but not limited to ads & patronising satirical cartoons

- in press cuttings

- contemporary ones showing bicycles as a tool of independence (e.g. Afghan women)

@ascentale @FourT4 @bikenite A2: I wish I had pictures to share. Where I'm from, women cycling is a daily occurrence as they do a lot of things on bikes, including (but not limited to) doing grocery shopping, dropping off / picking up kids, covering their last-mile trips, etc, but I realize that cycling was a way for women to gain freedom and independence at least in North America.
