(1) Got diagnosed with POTS today.
Post orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.
Not super surprising, but still.
(2) Got diagnosed with SIBO today.
Small intestine bacterial overgrowth.
I didn't know this disease specifically but it's not a surprise that my gut health is bad.
For POTS I got the regular advice: drinking 3 liters of water per day, salt at 7-9 grams per day, compression socks.
For SIBO I need to go on an extremely strict diet for one month (low fodmap), then one month of reintroduction. At the same time antibiotics, then supplements.
This is the first time I actually got medical confirmation that something's wrong.
Which is good news, in a way.
The bad news is that it's a whole list and I need a notebook to remember everything.
