Now, some #BlanketFort fun.
We played a fun imagination/educational game that I made up - Super Storm Rescue Heroes. I pretended we got hit with a bad storm & had to evacuate the blanket fort. Rayven saved his Grandma first & then all the (stuffed) animals too. Evacuated everyone to the bathroom. Came back after I checked that the coast is clear.
This is when he was 'repairing' his blown down blanket fort.
Rayven has been taught to not litter inside or outside. This life lesson was also taught to us around his age & it stuck with us.
He got some chocolate after rebuilding his blanket fort & making sure his Grandma & stuffed animals all got back safely.
His parents took him on a couple of beach clean up community work parties when he was 2 years old & he's been on another community litter pickup event shortly after turning 3 years old. My parents took me & my 2 brothers out to do volunteer litter pickup community events & also included picking up litter when we went out on family outdoor adventures. It was instilled in us as young ages & we are passing on the life lessons with being responsible with litter.
