@ziphi it worked out rather well, I often see it drawn as some creature with clawy hands just magically holding it as if the claws are now soft and precise and the cup sort of levitates to compensate

I really like how this one makes it feel realistic in a way, tea cup kinda hanging by but still upright enough to get some sippies out of it c:

Really nice work on the bass.

I was just having a discussion with somebody the other day on how difficult it is to portray a stringed instrument in cartoon form and why we have so many goofy representations of them in media. You couldn't have nailed it any better.

I like how you solved some of the "so many lines" problem by abutting the fretboard edge and outer strings.

@ringagentumbra To be fair, I was lazy and traced from a photo I took of my own instrument.

While I could have drawn it without tracing, it would've taken a lot longer.

But yeah, it is just so many lines and so much detail. I ignored all the detail at the bridge. And thank goodness it was a bass and not a guitar, because six strings would not have fit on this level of detail.
