Xilinx updated DS890 yesterday and there's a "Kintex UltraScale+ Gen 2". Nothing too exciting. It's just a bigger Spartan Ultrascale+, still on 16 nm. Has the hard memory controller, Gen4 PCIe, Versal derived configuration (platform management controller). Hope you don't need fast LVDS because HPIO is replaced by XP5IO and HDIO is LVDS RX only, 250 Mb/s max. XP5IO also means the end of fast 1.8 V IO.

Edit: XP5IO can do LVDS15, missed that.

@dlharmon XP5IO can do fast LVDS still AFAIK (I think the presentation even says it's faster than HPIO at 1800mbps vs 1600). Do lose the ability to do PCIe x16 I believe (but get gen4 in exchange).
@roukemap I'd missed that. Made a correction to the original.

@dlharmon The big advantage of the gen2 is fast memory support. Having a max of one DDR4 2133 DIMM channel was one of the KU3P/KU5P's biggest weaknesses.

But there are absolutely use cases where it's not the right choice.

@azonenberg The savings in resources with the hard memory controller is pretty big too. DDR4 MIG is nearly two full clock regions.
