Can anyone recommend some good #ux #product #tech folks to follow?
Thanks for the tips peeps! Followed and look forward to contributing myself 🤝

@clouston here's a few folks I enjoy getting posts from:

@laura @scottjenson @PavelASamsonov

@clouston they're not all in one thread (sorry!) but I @ people who get quoted in the Product Picnic every week when I post the new issue, and they are all smart cookies and worth following.

@clouston But it's not a bad idea to collect the handles into a thread or something to help people find each other. Actually, I should do a similar thing on bsky too.

@clouston Great suggestions from David and Pavel. Also definitely these two if, by #UX, you mean interaction design. 😉

@clouston long long time ago there was a tech company full of one enthusiastic person called apple. This dude made his products really great and reduced the stuff to a bare minimum. But this times are over now there is a guy just trying to make money over money with the glorious reputation of that one dude. And this company was/is named after a fruit.

Long story short. With todays designs most people and tech enthusaits are going after feature creep which is a really really bad way imho. Try to make simple products. give people one way to experience your product and reduce everything so far that you can't remove anything more otherwise it would break the product. And try to give people stuff with less clicks

@clouston I went ahead and made a list! Filtered out the inactive accounts, too. https://mastodon.social/@PavelASamsonov/116013288677053285
You're a legend @PavelASamsonov! I'll share it around 🙏
