my wife said something about Epstein that is completely correct:

it isn't that he's the epicentre of everything bad in the world. it's that he's the only rich fucker's texts we're being allowed to read.

all of the world's billionaires are, evidently, in a death-rape-cult.

@AmyZenunim I agree the billionaire class are all intertwined with this mess, but I have a problem with turning them into an omnipotent conspiracy (not saying you're doing that).

There's a real conspiracy here, with evidence and paper trails. A vile trafficking and blackmail ring, connected with intelligence and the radical right wing politics (& many 'elite' 'liberals'). It's not omnipotent, it's a real thing, with names and dates, that we can fight. Don't let them blame human nature.

@BoysenberryCider @AmyZenunim Yes, what makes these all so shocking is that it goes totally against "human nature" as most of us experience it in our daily lives.

The only way I'm understanding it right now is that to become a billionaire, you have to believe that every other human being on earth is meant to be your property, and your only path to (happiness? fulfillment? whatever they seek) is to completely dominate as many people as you can.

That's not what I believe or feel, and I don't think it is for most people. But if that IS your mentality, it's a short trip to all the monstrous words and deeds we see in the Epstein files.

@BoysenberryCider @AmyZenunim @lauerhahn I'm inclined to agree. There are people in the world who get very rich from inheritance, luck, whatever, and who decide that'll do - they retire or they start giving it away or whatever. They don't make the extra effort/pursue the extra avarice required to become a billionaire.

And I think those who do become billionaires do so because they really are the worst people. It's not possible to become a billionaire without actively trying to make the world a worse place for your own ends. Most people, even with all the opportunity, simply wouldn't be that much of a shit.

@BoysenberryCider @AmyZenunim @lauerhahn @RolloTreadway when you are a multi-millionaire with 10 or 15Mio worth, you can have a very comfortable life without ever working for money again, including some rich peoples hobbies. No 150m yacht. No Learjet. But very comfortable.

I think, on the way to "superrich" there must be a greed to keep going. While a lot of money pours in with interest and casino money, there is some action to keep maximizing on all that. Motivated by greed and small dicks.

@BoysenberryCider @AmyZenunim @lauerhahn @RolloTreadway so I am pretty shure, to enter the circle of superrich (i.e. > 100Mio ) you need to have some sociopathic traits, to get there. One of that might be to consume humans for sex entertainment. There might be other disgusting things.
