Which #customROM would be best suited in your opinion for an elderly person who has really no feeling and skills at all for technical/digital devices?
#GrapheneOS #IodeOS #eos #lineageOS ?

The standard #Android is really a nightmare in terms of structure/clarity. I have heard of senior-friendly launchers but at least on #Fdroid, the choice of launchers seems quite limited.

#unplugTrump #unplugBigTech

@Ja_E_I_O_U I have GrapheneOS on a pixel. With 2 users. One without Google play. With F-Droid. And Obtainium (you can install, for example, app from github. And updates are done when available).

And. 2and phone. That was a test. A poco x3 NFC with /e/os (which is lineage with adding service). And now. This phone is now for My child. There is parental control.

GrapheneOS and /e/os ate both nice. But if you don't want a phone by Google. /e/os is better. GrapheneOS for more security

@a_human_citizen Do you think that /e/os is easier to grasp for an older person than GrapheneOS?
@Ja_E_I_O_U I think so. Easier than GrapheneOS. If you have time. And if you can. Take a phone able to have /e/os and grapheneOS. Try /e/os. If you like it. Keep it. If not. Try grapheneOS. So you will be sure. But I'm pretty sure/e/os will be OK. And you can order it already set in a phone.
