#Today I learned that mason jars are not good for freezing water. 😅 I feel like I really should've known that, but I got focused on filling ALL THE THINGS with water/ice to try to keep my fridge/freezer going a bit longer when the power goes out.

The jar has big old cracks in it but is holding for the moment. Soon as it thaws it's gonna be a mess though.

@nevar23 For the next time you have to do storm prep, you can freeze in mason jars, but you need the straight kind (no "shoulders") and there is a line at the top of the jar that shows how far you can safely fill it for freezing.
