Boo to AI slop. But yay for reminder of our history. There were thousands of smaller confederations, tribes, and bands. Here in southeastern Massachusetts, if I have this right, I live on the land of the Pokanoket Wampanoag, the People of the Dawn. (Those who see the first light of day; thus, Easterners). They spoke the Massachusett dialect of the Algonquin language.
