can't believe nobody did:
What’s that thing in the reef
With the big shiny teeth?
That’s a Moray!
When an eel has a jaw
With another inside,
that's a Moray?
ok, I got one.
What you eating young fellow?
Crackers, chocolate, marshmallow...
That s'more, eh?
When two grids passing by
Cast a pattern in your eye
That's a Moiré
I always thought Dean Martin best described this:
When the moon hits your eye
Like a big pizza pie, that's a Moiré
When the world seems to shine
Like you've had too much wine, that's a Moiré
🎶 When you take angled lines,
And different angled lines,
That a Moiré 🎶
"When your patterns combine
in a way serpentine
that's a moire."
"With the high price of feed
It's for farmers in need
That some mow hay"
"If 'King Kong' has gone flat
Rent the flick 'Vampire Bat'
It's some More Wray"
when an eel's swimming by
and it bites out your eye,
it'a a moray!

Cannot best the New York Times
The greatest Venn diagram of all time.
When I was a kid my dad would bring home transparent discs that would create a Moiré pattern when overlaid and turned.
He also brought home other cool science stuff, like magnets and iron filings and chemicals. He was a scientist.
Lot's of stanzas of "That's a Moir\'e" in the replies, but no-one's yet done
When new lines hit your eye
From two grids as they ply
