A letter to the editor* which reads: "APPARENTLY it costs the NHS over E300,000 a year to remove foreign objects from people's rectums. Why aren't we removing British objects instead? was Brexit all for nothing?
- Gerry Paton, London"

*Satirical. But still damned funny.

A few people have noted this may come from Private Eye or from another satirical newspaper. I did a quick search earlier but did not find it, and that's about all I plan to do to find its origin. I am happy to laugh heartily.
@jmcrookston Thank you for the updates. People correct themselves all too rarely.
@jmcrookston It's definitely Private Eye, we're subscribers.
@jmcrookston It ran in the Nov. issue of Viz, on pg. 10 (approx. - the same page as "Crapperazzi"). I believe it's satire.
@jmcrookston Looks like Viz
@freequaybuoy good call it is!
@jmcrookston Sorry, I read the replies after and saw lots of others had already told you!
