Some of you might have already seen the #Stonehenge soldering challenge. It will return to #39c3 and be available in the #hardwarehackingArea

Its a cursed soldering challenge that will test your skill. The CH32V203 µC make programming accessible if you want to tinker with the software.

There is a workshop where you can build it on site with help from Kliment and other awesome people.

Or just get a kit and build it at your assembly or at home.

I packed 65 kits in total.

The workshop on Day1 will need around 20 of them, the rest you can get at the #HardwareHackingArea

We also got feedback that soldering the USB-C receptacle was problematic for participants. So the next iteration will feature a hopefully easier to mount part: `MC-402L68`
It has less pins, and they are spaced further apart.

And because the vendor did not have a 3D model, I started to make one in #FreeCAD

@cccpresser my favorite (probably unintended) feature is that the kit makes every photo look like an early 2000s 3D game with heavy fish-eye distortion :)

@twoowls73 unfortunately not. This is just a hobby project. I don't want to bother with shop/payment/taxes/returns/...

If you got friends at 39c3, perhaps they can get one for you?

@cccpresser Hi cpresser, I really try to get Stonehenge-Kits, but I am out of luck to meet Kliment. Unfortunately I have problems with my dect and can not reach out, but I already tried 5 times ^^` do you have a tipp for me how to reach out? maybe Mastodon? I found a Kliment, but with a language I don't speak, and I am not sure, if this is the "right" Kliment - the other account has no posts. Thank you so much in advance 😊

@Prisma there will be a session at stonehenge the HHA later today. I recommend to go there.

Kliment just have a talk 30mins ago, so I guess he was quite busy :)
