@shollyethan Thanks for the newsletter! I might be the only person which never had problems running Watchtower … I might just leave it running until it breaks….

@maxheadroom There's a link to a fork in the post that should be a drop-in replacement in you're not ready to part with Watchtower yet.

Are you using labels/semantic image versions to avoid blind upgrades, or you've really just been that lucky letting it YOLO updates for every container you're running?

@shollyethan Yeah I saw that link. Might check it out. I run a mixture. Some images are pinned to the major version, some are just latest, some are exempted from Watchdog. But largely YOLO ;)

I'll be bold and toot my own horn here - #dockcheck is a shell script that aims to be very simple to get going but have a lot of modular options. Like labels, notifications, backups, auto pruning, and more. And can be scheduled with cron/systemd/other.
