Billionaires usually being proclaimed followers of Christ is so ironic since Jesus preached about giving away all your belongings before joining him.
As someone who was raised by conservative evangelicals but actually read the bible instead of cherry picking from it, Jesus hated the rich and would fuck them up with a whip in a rage.

I left the church because I was tired of the hypocrisy, but I've always said that Yeshua was actually pretty cool and had some really really good and important things to say, and most Christians should probably actually pay attention?? instead of using religion as an excuse for horrible horrible bigotry and violence?? maybe??

A lot of #religions around the world were built to control and abuse people. Same as #political movements and concept of global #economy. Its all to enslave majority to give power to minor group who have the power.

the Bible is literally just catholic propaganda. they controlled what's in it long before other Christian religions popped up
pretty sure the life and times of Jesus only made it into the Bible because the Catholics knew they needed to soften up their image if anyone was going to believe they were doing good.
