My name is Viki and I'm the President of #BudapestPride. I’ve been working alongside All Out and many others for years to fight for #LGBT+ equality.
When the Pride ban broke, we faced smear campaigns, possible jail time, and surveillance – all for trying to march peacefully in our own city.
But then, something incredible happened: hundreds of thousands of people showed up anyway! Thanks to the outcry from the All Out movement and countless others, we organised the biggest demonstration in Hungarian history: We marched, we sang, and we refused to be silenced.
Our victory in Budapest gave hope to countless others. And now, we need your help to keep that hope alive.
