Maybe some of those views even believe your lies! I'm sure next you'll look into the mass murders under Stalin, the state-sponsored cannibalism under Mao...right?
Probably not.
Of course math doesn't lie. That doesn't mean that everyone who gestures vaguely at math is telling the truth; MANY people abuse math in order to lie.
Or, in this case, how to draw lies out of them.
@AlexanderKingsbury Indeed, I know all of the tricks, but in this case I am revealing the tricks and misdirects rather than commiting them. #JustSaying.
Don't take my word for it. The data are there for all to see. They speak for themselves. I just collected and assembled them since no one else seemed to want to.
I take your word for it that you know very well how to lie with math. Because you're doing it. But please, don't let me stop you. As to "no one else seemed to want to", you should probably look around. LOTS of other folks are lying about economics while hiding behind math.
@AlexanderKingsbury Yes. This is true. As a recovering economist, this was a reason I left the discipline – lots of smoke and mirrors.
What's not being revealed is the true costs of Capitalism. It's one thing to look at the costs and declare that the benefits are worth it. This is business 101. It's another animal still to ignore or hide the costs to make the option appear batter than it is.
I'll call this "truth in advertising." 😉
Part of truth in telling the WHOLE truth. Half a truth is often a great lie. Failing to demonstrate benefits and looking only as costs, for example. Another part would be telling the truth about the alternatives. Planning on making any videos about the Great Leap Forward? The Holodomor? The Cambodian Genocide? Any of the mass slaughters of millions caused directly by communism and/or socialism?
Ah, I see. When state-sponsored cannibalism happens under communism, it's PEOPLE who did it, not the economic system. And when people die under capitalism, it's the fault of the ECONOMIC system, not people. Of course.
The state-sponsored part of the cannibalism sure seems to suggest to me that the whole marxism idea amounts to a bad system.
