@girlonthenet This is such a good article that applies to other things on top of porn too. It's why we shouldn't be using it *anywhere*.
I'm also low-key dreading the people who socialise themselves on AI chatbots, particularly for relationships, and then expect their real life partners, when they get them, to behave like that.
Fantastic pic by Stuart too. And a good pun 😂
@girlonthenet @stuart_cb According to the corporate model, if people start using AI to write porn, they will also need AI bots to read and summarize the porn.
And seriously, who has time to get off manually these days? We're going to need AI bots to enjoy the porn that is written by AI and read by AI.
At last, recreational sex has been safely delegated to sterile computer programs so that you have all the more time to consume instead of create.
@AmusCobblestone @girlonthenet @stuart_cb let me save all those CPU cycles and summarize:
she came X times
he came Y times
and we all know Y==1, and most time X==0, but she fakes like 10.
I'm reminded when an old friend of mine in the mid 1990s ran all of the Usenet newsgroup alt.sex.stories archivesthrough a Markov chain.
We asked him what his Markov chain generated and his answer was:
“It wasn't coherent but it was definitely pornography”.
LLM-backed generative AI is an evolutionary, not revolutionary, advancement from Markov chains.
