  • And that's the dangerous part…

If this was mere self-harm then it would be tragic, but the problem is that this shit endangers those who cannot actually protect themselves or even comprehend the seriousness of the problem…

  • I.e. small children and eldery people in need if beibg taken care of.

At some point "AI" #lies and #disinformation will - statistically inebitably - (have) kill(ed) someone (already)!

@RickEtyhat @mjr @fooflington granted there are some old recipes to make even the toxic ones edible but I don't know them myself nor would advise anyone to try them as they are extremely laborious and require good care!

@fooflington this has a lot of clear earmarks of AI-generated imagery.

  • the fingers in the top panel are very anatomically inaccurate upon close inspection
  • the font of the "AI" text is different between the 2 panels (note the bottom ends of the "A")
  • the "AI" characters eyes are blatantly different in the 2 panels
  • in the bottom panel the "AI" character is standing inside the bed

@fooflington Amanita Muscaria are technically edible, it depends on dosage and cooking method. I wouldn't eat it personally but it's ironic that people are just assuming the comic is true in the same way they assume whatever AI says is true.
