Well I do think that AI is heading in the wrong direction, companies are making more of an effort to make their models more accurate rather than smaller and less power consuming, but I guess that is how the market is now and I cannot blame them for it but, it will get worse before it gets better. When the AI bubble finally bursts, companies will maybe start focusing on making these models smaller while maintaining results.
