in the netherlands, there are some radio stations (e.g. 538 and Qmusic) that have video feeds which play music videos in sync with the station, cutting to the studio whenever the presenters talk. do other countries do this too?

Some #US stations do only stream the studio, amd in #Germany most don't or only few shows like legendary #Domian from @[email protected] #WDR...

AFAICT only @nrk does this, because #livestreaming #MusicVideos requires way more, additional #licensing fees, so they restrict #streaming to their own / licensed #content.

You can see this with @tagesschau at @[email protected] livestreams when they replace the #video with a "we can't show the images due to lack of licensing" banner, as they only license 3rd party media for #broadcasting in #Germany via DVB-S(2(X))/-T2/-C(2) and not #online - #livestreaming!

Pretty shure #DWnews / @dw_innovation literally avoid 3rd party content as much as possible for that reason alone as they want to broadcast the same unified program online and conventionally.
