We won! I think we got a grand slam in the 6th, but these two annoying dogs kept running around and distracted me. It was at least a three run home run! We won 7-1! I forgot double headers were fewer innings. There were a lot of good plays and a few crazy foul balls!

I'm not staying for game 2, I have shopping to do! And I'm hungry!

Somehow I missed recording all the best plays! This was a rundown where the runner got tagged, but we had one rundown where the defence got sloppy and our runner made it home!

There was barely anyone on the bleachers today. The last time I came (last season) it was packed, they even had a canopy up past the dugout. So I don't get why it was totally dead today 🤷🏽‍♀️ Apart from one other woman (who I think was a relative of a player as I saw them talking), I was the only person who stayed for the entire game.

At least the #Dodgers remembered how to play before we got swept by the Madres. And Yama got some rare run support.

Question: is #Muncy back on the IL? He came back after coming off it, but now he's gone again. Is Kim also on the IL? What happened to Barnes, has he been pretty much retired now we have Smith as primary and Rushing as backup? Why is #Conforto? Is Teoscar's defence as bad and lazy as the comments make out? He was so clutch last season, but now he's pretty much a guaranteed out on offence and rarely makes good defensive plays. I know #Ohtani has some impressive offensive stats, but he's so inconsistent.

I miss some of the old guys. Trayce Thompson (he played for Team GB in the WBC), he got three homers in one game once.

#WillSmith won't be returning as catcher, from what I've heard, because of his injury. He'll be pinch hitting, which he is normally quite good at, though he did slump a little after the All Star break. I hope he's able to get back to his peak. The #Phillies are going to be tough!

It's a joy to watch! They're really going all out on both offence and defence. Compare that to Teoscar's "meh" attitude when it comes to defence.

I'd love to see a Blue Jays vs Dodgers World Series. I can't see the Dodgers winning that one, but it would be great to see.

If I had taken the time to research teams first, instead of "I know Dodgers are a baseball team, so I'll just follow their games," I would have chosen the Blue Jays. Just because they're the only non US team haha. Also, their logo is cute.

My hope for a #BlueJays vs #Dodgers World Series has come true!

Given how the Dodgers were playing in the last couple of months of the regular season, I'm surprised we even made it this far. At least Scott and Conforto have been benched, and Teoscar has stopped being lazy. Treinen still makes me hold my head in my hands though.

I feel like this could go either way. Either Dodgers will choke and it'll be all over by game 5. Or they'll take it down to the wire in a close game 7.

I'd love to see the Japanese national champions play the MLB champs. Even more fun would be the UK national champs, the #LondonMets, play either of them!

Blue Jays are deadly this year. Dodgers are tired. I predicted it would be either Blue Jays in 5 or it would go to game 7 in a close game. But it's most likely Blue Jays in 6. I'd have liked the Dodgers to win, but Blue Jays deserve it this year. They've been on the offensive all year, whereas the Dodgers slump too much.
