I am talking about the Peertube Android app.

1) no filtering by language (I dont speak German)
2) when starting a video the pause and full screen interaction icons of a dark overlay are kept over the content
3) Adding to Watch Later, the only playlist available for me, requires 2 clicks everywhere for no reason.
4) No x icon to delete previous search at once, requiring me to backspace
5) Watch Later is the only playlist.
6) Cannot find a way to follow

@fabriziob @lazyb0y @nixCraft @stephane_audic the first bit seems to be a problem on the fediverse in general.

I have my mastodon client/account set to only show English, but there's soooo many German (or other language) users who apparently don't set their language or don't set it per-post when operating multilingually.

If I scroll trending long enough or look at the global feed... yep, lots of other languages. It seems (to me) to be mostly German/Dutch and Chinese or Japanese.

This is a UX problem during sign-ups, I think. People are either not seeing the language selector at all or don't care to set it (probably not realizing why it's there).

I wonder if peertube has the same issue?
