Our stable branch for #Godot 3 users was due an update for new platform requirements, so here is 3.6.2-stable!

This is particularly relevant if you have games published on Android and iOS.
But we also recommended upgrading from earlier 3.5.x or 3.6.x releases for all other platforms. #GodotEngine

Maintenance release: Godot 3.6.2 – Godot Engine

Although we fixed many of the major 3.6 bugs in Godot 3.6.1 in June, we have decided to make a new 3.6 point release in order to keep up to date with platform requirements.

The original Windows binaries for 3.6.2-stable had a crashing regression.

We found a workaround and rebuilt the binaries (editor and templates) which have been updated in place. (Same code, different compiler version.)
