I did try simcity, but was able to get a refund via chargeback due to how much the lkaunch was fucked. I was so happy when cities skylines took off.

@Viss I stopped giving them money when I had to crack BF3 to not use origin in order to play the online multiplayer, because something was broken between origin and the weird web-launcher they used for multiplayer.

@ancients i really really wanted to like the first starwars game. i played the demo. but they put the pay to win shit into that too and i just couldnt bring myself to buy a copy

@Viss I ended up losing FPS as a genre I played much of until PUBG became popular years later.

Still haven't played anything that scratched the itch as well as Battlefield Bad Company 2 did for me.

@ancients well, halo inifinite and cyberpunk 2077 have fantastic single player campaigns, if you wanna try those! then doom 2016. doom was like, the best fps in decades

@Viss Oh absolutely. I was meaning the mutliplayer side. I have a ton of hours in 2077 and Doom 2016/Eternal.

Still haven't sat down with Dark Ages yet though.
